Already own a domain through Enom?

Great! With about.me Pro, you can bring your Enom domain to about.me and connect it to your about.me page in just five simple steps.

Step 1

Log in to your Enom account at  enom.com

If you're already logged in, simply click your account name in the right-hand corner next to "My Cart."

Step 2

Under the section "Domain Manager" click on "Registered Domains." This will take you to your DNS settings.

Step 3

In your domain manager, you'll see your domain at the top, and options to "Edit Host Records" below. Here's where things can get a little bit tricky, so follow along with the example below and make sure all of your values match what you see in the recording.

A. Replace the number that looks like 209.200.154.51 with 52.2.64.1 (copy and paste the number just as it is - be sure there are no extra periods at the end).

B. Add 52.2.64.1 in the empty box next to "Record Type A (Address)". All Record types with "A (Address)" should have 52.2.64.1 in the empty box to the right.

C. Type in your Enom domain next to the "Record Type CNAME (Alias)" and double-check your spelling!

(Pay particularly close attention to the CNAME and A Records - there should be no other IP addresses or records in this view).

Your Host Records should look similar to the image below, but with your domain in the first box.

Step 4

Head back to your about.me page to check to make sure everything's connected properly.

Step 5

You're all set! Go to your new domain and check out how beautiful your new page is. Just a reminder that your domain may take up to 48 hours to fully connect.
